Starting October 1, 2013, all agents participating in federal, partnership, or state marketplaces are required to be certified by the marketplace with which they are conducting business. By adding the states where you may be certified to your profile, consumers and other entities that may be seeking the services of licensed and certified health insurance producers to assist exchange clients (legislators, insurance departments and other assisters) will be able to find you easily.
Click the box next to the state you are certified in & then enter the certification date. Click Next Step to save your updates & continue.
States participating in or partnering with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) are marked in bold. If you have completed FFM training you are able to participate in all states with a FFM, as long as you hold a valid producer license in the state. You may select all of the FFM states by selecting all the bolded states or you may select only the states in which you prefer to conduct business and receive consumer referrals.
Please note: NAHU members are responsible for the information included in their agent profile, and are expected to accurately report and verify current certifications earned by the state or federal government and by other designating entities.
